they are not with our regular hour staffed MT's.
Please be kind and aware that your massage is with a
practitioner that is new to the industry.

Mentorship Program At WHW
For Massage Therapists
Build the practice you want within mentorship and work out the kinks.
What does the program entail?
WHW provides a structured mentorship to massage therapists with little or no experience that want to boost thier career.
Be a masterful, artisan therapist. Our four to six month program will cover the basics of success in the massage therapy profession and is administered and overseen by three massage therapists that have had successful practices for more than 28 years combined.

Mentorship is a stucture that is flexible and open, like a work/study and we work individually with each practitioner to touch on what your needs and goals are.
Each Mentee will be given clients like a typical practitioner. WHW will coach the mentees through improving hands-on skills, therapeutic relationships, self care, sales and retention skills as well as business building.
How much will you get paid?
Mentees will have earnings just like other practitioners only at a slightly reduced rate because of clinic prices. We still hope to pay you competitively in the massage profession with a $30/hr rate for clinic hours and $40/hr rate for non-clinic hours.

Getting a massage job right out of school seems like a great idea! Throwing yourself into work and getting your hands on 5-7 people a day can be truly exciting. We just don't believe this is sustainable and provides the right variables for a healthy lifestyle.
The vision and philosophy of water house wellness is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for practitioners to thrive. We will slowly build your hands-on time to a typical level.
WHW is selfishly trying to change the culture of massage therapy. We want dedicated customers who come back again and again. We want our practitioners to be successful and be part of our family. By having a mentor program, we are mothering the profession one person at a time.

The cost of membership is formalized with a work/study contract tailored to your needs during the interview process. There is no cost to you unless you do not want to provide hands-on time during mentor clinic.
